Yearly Family Picnic
MIND conducts a yearly family picnic by bringing together all African communities and their members in the Twin Cities.
Passport Service
Annually, MIND organization reach out and partner with the Nigeria Consulate to coordinate helps Nigerian citizens with their passport renewals, passport forms, and other passport related issues. For non-Nigerian citizens, MIND helps provide information about Nigerian visas, application forms, connecting them with the embassy and consulting for any visa issues.
Water For Life
MIND partners with Water for Life to raise awareness in the community and to help with fundraising including a walk-a-thon and other involvement in their programs in providing safe drinking water for people in developing nations.
Nigerian Independence Day Celebration gala
Annually, MIND plans and sponsor the gala, along with fundraising for the proposed “Nigeria Community and Cultural Center” in Minnesota.
MIND General Meeting
The 1st Sunday of every month MIND holds a general meeting in Minneapolis where community members can visit, ask questions, and also contribute their ideas for future programs.
